Harmonium is a student-led organization committed to helping immigrant and multicultural youth thrive as confident and valued members of Korean society.
For many young people who were born and raised abroad before moving to South Korea during their school years, the transition can be far more challenging than most people realize. Because of language barriers and unfamiliar cultural norms, even simple everyday tasks-such as buying something at a convenience store or making friends at school-can become significant challenges.
These young people are not outsiders. They are members of our communities and part of Korea's future.
To support these students, Harmonium works alongside educational institutions and community organizations that serve immigrant and multicultural youth through educational resources, mentoring, cultural exchange, and community partnerships.
Helping young people fully adapt to a new language, culture, and society requires more than a single act of kindness. Meaningful change comes through sustained support, understanding, and encouragement.
We support immigrant youth through education, mentorship, and community programs.
We develop multilingual learning videos and educational materials to help students learn beyond language barriers.
Centered around our Korea Headquarters, various school clubs and individual students across Korea are actively involved, alongside our U.S. and other international branches.
Students, donors, and volunteers - everyone has a role to play.
